With Wi-Fi Streaming your home timeline, mentions, and messages refresh instantly while Tweetlogix is active and connected to a Wi-Fi network. See Settings > Refresh > Wi-Fi Streaming for related settings.
Some users have reported that Instagram images have recently stopped appearing inline within Tweetlogix. The reason for this problem is that Instagram image links have apparently changed in format from instagr.am/p/ to instagram.com/p/. It’s not clear whether this is a permanent change in Instagram’s image link format. To resolve the issue, the upcoming Tweetlogix 2.1 update will introduce support for both Instagram image link formats. Some iPad users have reported a problem taking photos with their iPad camera in the Tweetlogix Compose view. After taking a photo, the app will incorrectly remain in camera preview mode. This problem only affects Tweetlogix on iPad.
For a temporary workaround, here’s how you can return to the Compose view after taking a photo:

I’m also working on Wi-Fi streaming timeline refresh for a future 2.1 update. The streaming feature will help reduce issues with Twitter’s new 1.1 API limits.
Please understand that Twitter’s rate limit changes are from Twitter, not us. I understand your frustration with Twitter’s new rate limits, but unfortunately Twitter’s changes are out of our control. Twitter is beginning the process this week of retiring their prior 1.0 API, so all developers are now required to switch to their new 1.1 API.
